Trains and Locomotives

Rheingold with Bavarian S 3/6

The Rheingold was a renowned German first-class-only Trans Europ Express train operated by the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft, running mostly along the Rhine River ("Rhein" in German). It started its service in 1928, and was cancelled during the Second World War. It was reestablished in 1951 by the Deutsche Bundesbahn.
The version built shows the train as it may have looked in the later half of it's first service period, pulled by a Bavarian S 3/6 steam locomotive (BR 18.4-5).

  1. Pick the train or locomotive that you want. Try to find an unmistakable designation or the name that the train or locomotive is commonly known by.
Since some trains or locomotives get a new appearance from time to time, it will help us to match your imagination if you add a picture of the exact train or locomotive model that you have in mind.
You can also choose to buy a copy of one of our already existing trains and locomotives, wich is remarkably cheaper.
  2. Contact us and tell us precisely what you want.
  3. We will inform you if and when we start processing your order. We may ask you to make a down payment before that.
  4. We will inform you as soon as the train or locomotive is finished. You then have the opportunity to propose changes to it without extra cost. If you are satisfied, you can buy the train and take it home immediately.
